Photography.
During my work at Casa de la Ciudad in Oaxaca, I had the opportunity to do much more than project management, I did research, design, photography, logistics, PR .....etc.
When my team and I were preparing this exhibition called "Retablos, patrimonio restaurado" ("Altarpieces, Restored Heritage") we had quite a challenge to get all the information from the several teams that worked on the restoration of each altarpiece.
I had to prepare a dossier with all the information we were about to present in the exhibition to get the authorization from INAH (The National Institute of History and Anthropology). Somehow I still found time to design the poster, and get even *more* hands-on by actually making short trips to several churches in nearby villages to take some of the pictures we were going to exhibit.
Each altarpiece was restored thanks to a collective effort with private and international funds. One of the main donors was Fundación Alfredo Harp Helú, which is a major philanthropic actor in Mexico. Casa de la Ciudad is only one of its several cultural projects.
